Entrance exams
 

In the entrance exam the university assesses whether applicants are suitably qualified for studies in music. In addition, applicants must demonstrate knowledge of music theory. What is required in the Bachelor entrance exam?

Minor subjects: Unless otherwise noted, the following requirements apply to artistic minor subjects (piano, other instrument or voice) in all programs: Two works from different style epochs.

For all Jazz/Pop instruments: In the case of prepared pieces, in each case 6 copies of the sheet music or leadsheets must be brought to the exam.
It is expected that prepared pieces will be listed at the time of making application for admission. If an accompanist is desired, this should be stated in the application for admission. The accompanist will be a member of the university teaching staff.
