Bachelor program

Anyone wanting to turn their passion for music into a career will find a comprehensive range of degree programs at the Robert Schumann School of Music and Media. The eight-semester Bachelor’s programs offer a range of degree options, from Music or Music Promotion, all the way to Music and Media.

Music Degree Options:
Bachelor of Music
Orchestra instruments, voice, guitar, piano, organ, composition

Music Education Degree Options:
Bachelor of Music
Music education with majors in the orchestral instruments, guitar, piano, organ, recorder, voice, music theory and ear training, conducting (orchestral and choral), church music (Protestant and Catholic)

Music and Media Degree Options:
Bachelor of Music

Music & Technology Degree Options Audio and Video
Bachelor of Engineering
Offered jointly by the School of Music and Media and the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf

Musicology: This is a supplementary minor offered in cooperation with the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf

Applicants to all programs of study must pass an entrance exam (Eignungsprüfung) and provide proof of their proficiency (Language Skills) in German.
