Dipl.Ing. Florian Boddin
Assistant Professor for Video Engineering
Florian Boddin, born 1955, finished his studies of communications and automation engineering in 1983 at the University of Applied Sciences Duesseldorf. Afterwards he worked in the planning, realization and support field of an English manufacturer of multivision technology.
Since 1985 he has been working as a scientific assistant in the Design Department of the University of Applied Sciences Duesseldorf. There he is in charge of the studios for audio visual media.
Being an Assistant Professor for Video Engineering, Florian Boddin has been teaching within the program Audio and Video Engineering since 1992 and since its foundation also at the Institute For Music And Media of the University of Music Duesseldorf. His doctrine of the studio practice imparts the main focuses on video production and postproduction technology and compositing. Therewith his task is to communicate between engineering sciences and design in order to realize creative ideas in the design field using highly engineered tools of media technology.
