Dipl.Ing. Peter Dombrowski

Peter Dombrowski, born 1963, studied at the Robert Schumann School of Music and Media and the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf in the Audio and Video Engineering program. He completed his course in 1989 as a graduate engineer. 

Since 1989 Peter Dombrowski has worked as a freelance audio engineer for various radio and television institutions and production firms including WDR, ZDF, Deutsche Welle and various service providers in the television broadcasting business.

His career took him to RTL Television in 1995, where he worked until 2010 as a transmission audio engineer, sound designer and in post-production for the Creation department.

In addition he is still active with his own equipment as a sound mixer for DeutschlandRadio Kultur in the Music production chamber music/new music department.

Up until 2012 Peter Dombrowski, as an audio engineer in television broadcasting at Studio Hamburg, looked after shows, talk shows and sports productions. 

Since September 2012 Peter Dombrowski has been a Service Engineer for the Audio Department at the Institute For Music And Media of the Robert Schumann School of Music and Media, Düsseldorf. His working responsibilities include the technical maintenance of the different studios and all the audio engineering equipment.
