Maurice Duruflé - Mass Cum Jubilo

In February 2017 the students Lukas Hierl and Daniel Przemus recorded the girls choir of the Essen Cathedral under the direction of Prof. Raimund Wippermann. On two days, the two masses Cum Jubilo by Maurice Duruflé and the Benjamin Britten’s Missa Brevis in D were recorded and produced in the Essen Cathedral. 

At the 142nd AES Convention in Berlin the Agnus Dei of the Mass “Cum Jubilo” was awarded the Silver Award in the Traditional Acoustic Recording category.
