We Float Around

In October 2014 the new album Transition by Egokind & Ozean was released by the Cologne electronic music label Traum Schallplatten. At the same time as it was published, the tracks of the album were visualised by various artists. One of these artists was Patrick Arnold, who made the track We Float Around (And Hang Out On Clouds) visible in his Visual Music clip. 

Conceptually, the visualisation is closely based on the track, especially on its tectonics. While the track is made up of the characteristic beat, catchy melody and the diverse sounds of the background level, these three parts are shown visually using animated triangles. 

Patrick Arnold’s work was created in the project module of the Music and Media program with Prof. Dr. Heike Sperling and Tim Fehske.
